Management Group are keen to explore ways in which local communities can gain
more from their association with the wall – in all sorts of ways – socially,
economically, culturally and environmentally.

Drumchapel Schools Roman Sculpture Project
Drumchapel Primary Schools recently worked up their collective creative energies to produce a spectacular display of artwork inspired by the nearby Antonine Wall and Roman artefacts from the Antonine Wall in the Hunterian Museum.
Drumchapel Pupils on the Antonine Junior Health March
On Friday the 29th August over 300 P6 and P7 pupils from 6 Primary schools in Drumchapel, Glasgow undertook the "Antonine Junior Health Walk" on a route around Drumchapel, taking in the Antonine Wall. The Antonine Junior Health Walk was organised by Drumchapel Heritage Group, Drumchapel L.I.F.E (Life Is For Everyone) the healthy living initiative, and Drumchapel Environment Trust, with support from a wide range of partners listed at the end of this article.
Antonine Wall Gains World Heritage Site Status
Linda Fabiani, MSP, Minister for Europe, External Affairs and Culture, today welcomed the decision by the World Heritage Committee to grant the Antonine Wall, the Roman frontier in Scotland, World Heritage Site status.
