Balmuildy Camp

In a field to the north-east of Balmuildy fort is the site of a Roman temporary camp.

The camp is visible in aerial photographs, but nothing is visible on the ground. No excavations have been carried out. The camp is likely to have been occupied by the men who built the Wall. The site lies in a field to the north-east of Balmuildy fort, north of the Antonine Wall and south of the river Kelvin, east of the A879 and north of Balmuildy Road.
