Kirkintilloch
Amphora Fragments
Part of an amphora, made of fired clay and 47 cm by 51cm. It carries the mark 'Q' and is believed to have been made in the first half of the 2nd century AD in Spain. It was found at Cowgate Street, Kirkintilloch, Scotland and dates to the Roman occupation of the Antonine Wall from AD 142-180.
