From Falkirk town centre follow signs for Callendar Park at the roundabout on Callendar Road. From Estate Avenue turn left into Seaton Place past high tower blocks. There is a small car park at the end of this road.

Callendar Park

History

The Antonine Wall has survived reasonably well throughout Callendar Park. The rampart is constructed of earth and clay, highlighting the different materials used east of Watling Lodge.

What can I see today?

A good example of a surviving ditch section from the Antonine Wall. The museum offers permanent exhibits on the Antonine Wall, Callendar House, and the industrial history of Falkirk District.
